Last night we decided to stay home and play in the backyard. There are so many evenings where we have so much going on and places to go. It was nice to just stay home and relax. We made some crepes--yes we are now in love with eating crepes (thanks Sullengers!) We turned on our fun patio lights, lit the tiki torches and had some fun. We made a small course for croquet in the backyard.
Garrett thought it was great--all the balls to play with. Luckily we had extras and he played with them. He loved to put them in his mouth and suck on them.
Lucy is getting the hang of swinging and hitting the ball.
Way to go Lucy--she won, but then again she got a few extra turns.
JJ started to show off his skill of balancing things on his nose. He showed me this skill when we were dating and yes ladies I was impressed!
Garrett hanging out with Dad--he loves to be up there and to pull JJ's hair.
The kids really enjoyed just playing and relaxing outside. It was such a beautiful night, not to hot or humid. Perfect to get out and enjoy. Later JJ and I were able to go back out and enjoy the evening with some french sodas. It was nice to just sit outside and talk together. It was fun to see all the lightening bugs come out and enjoy the evening.
