Sunday we packed up our car and headed home. It was nice for Lucy and Garrett to play outside with Grandma and Grandpa while we loaded things up. They need to get their wiggles out before they sit in the car. Lucy and Garrett really enjoyed spending time with the family and it was hard to leave. There were tears in Lucy's eye's and she said it was a sad day for sure. We really had a fun time up there and a fun spring break. It was hard to think of heading home to our real life at home.
We stopped and got Wendy's frosty's , Lucy was in heaven watching Monsters Inc. and eating ice cream.
Garrett was a pretty happy boy---he got pretty tired of sitting in his car seat. I can't wait until he can face forward, it makes such a difference. They both do really well traveling actually so we can't complain. It is nice when the weather is warmer because then we can pack our lunch and stop at a rest area to get out and play/eat lunch. 
We are glad to be back home and back into the swing of our daily life. I am trying to get the kids back on their routines and figure out what life is like here at home.
