Taste of O'fallon

We had a fun night attending the "Taste of O'Fallon" evening put on by the O'Fallon Chamber.  They changed the way dinner was served and had us assigned to tables.  It was so nice to be able to sit down and eat our dinners, rather than stand around cocktail tables. We sampled lots of yummy food from local restaurants.  We then moved into the dessert and gambling portion of the evening.  It was fun to have Twisted Sugar there.  They won the best dessert, it was deserved.  They were the best!  We had fun gambling our fake money away.  Usually, they are pretty laid back about the gambling and want you to win and make money.  We did not win and lost almost all of our money.  Our dealer at our table was nice but he wasn't a lot of fun.  It was a fun evening either way and fun to get dressed up and go out together.  The kids all had busy evenings and we were thankful that Lucy hung out with her friends at our house so they could watch Nolan.  She also helped drive Garrett to his friend's house that night.  It was nice to have the help so we didn't have to worry about anything.
