Friday afternoon we headed downtown to see the Peabody ducks march back into the elevator. We have seen them come out of the elevator and march into the fountain a couple of times but never back into the elevator. We didn't get there early enough and so we had to stand up on the 2nd floor and watch from behind this plant. We ended up just moving the plant for a few minutes so we could see the ducks march.
After seeing the ducks we rode the trolley. Garrett was really excited to ride the trolley, it is one of our favorite things to do. It was just fun to be downtown, we like to go downtown. I think Memphis has a fun downtown and there are so many fun things to do down there.
After the trolley ride we went home and had dinner. I had put dinner in the crock pot early in the morning so we were ready to eat when we walked in the door. After dinner we tried a new place close to our house for some ice cream. It was really disappointing and we should have just gone to sonic. Oh well, we tried it and now we know. It was a fun day doing some fun things as a family.
