On our way home we stopped to visit Lauren and her family. Lauren was in the middle of making homemade pretzels and bread. Lucy has been asking to make homemade pretzels, so she was super excited. They were so good! Better then ones I have bought at pretzel shops. We all enjoyed eating warm pretzels and bread while we visited in her kitchen. The kids were excited to show us their kittens and play with their cousins. Garrett challenged Braden and Lauren to a game of chess. He is always happy to have new people to play him. It was a really nice visit, and we are glad we were able to stop. It is nice to break up our drive. They are only 2 hours from us so getting back in the car it was nice to think we were almost there. When we got home we hurried and unloaded the van so we could go pick up Jack. We were so excited to see him and it was cute to see he was excited to see us too. It was a long day in the car but we were excited to be back home in our own beds.
