JJ's new schedule is not ideal in my book, but we will have to make it work. He now has Friday's off which is nice but we aren't all home, Lucy has school in the morning. So we really now only have 1 day to spend as a family, Sunday. So Friday morning we took Lucy to school and ran a few errands together. We picked up Lucy and had some lunch. Once Garrett was down for his nap JJ and Lucy were off to spend some time together. They got slush drinks at sonic and headed to the park. They had fun playing together pretending they were pirates and finding treasure. When Garrett woke up we loaded up and headed to the zoo. We were only there for a short while but we had fun walking around and seeing some animals. The kids enjoyed running around and looking and climbing on anything they could. After the Zoo we got some BBQ for dinner and then headed back home with a Red box movie to watch once the kids were in bed.

Sorry for your new schedule - I hate it when Dave has to work on Saturdays! It just feels like every other day and you have no weekend! But it sounds like you guys are making the most out of your Fridays - good job :)
