Wednesday afternoon we celebrated my Grandma's 94th birthday.  Natalie and her family came in town for thanksgiving so it was fun to see them.  Jenny has been working on a movie about Grandma and her life.  We reserved the movie room at Grandma's and watched the finished movie.  Jenny worked so hard on the movie and it was so awesome.  She spent so much time interviewing Grandma and asking her about her life.  She then edited it and put it into a great movie adding photos she collected about events, people and places she would talk about in the movie.  The kids had a hard time sitting down and watching the movie.  We got popcorn and brought little activates for them to do while we watched the movie.  I am so thankful for Jenny and her work to put it together, it was special to watch with Grandma.

After watching the movie we went into one of the kitchen rooms to sing and have pie with Grandma.  The weather was nice so the kids ran around out in the courtyard.  There were large windows in the room so we were able to watch them from inside.  Natalie and I played the piano and violin for Grandma which she liked.  Grandma seems to be doing really well.  She seemed to have good energy and got around really well.  I enjoyed being able to visit with her and spend time with her.  JJ had to work and was sad to miss the celebration.  Hopefully we can go over and visit Grandma as a family sometime soon.
After Grandma's we went home and the Wrights came over.  We made soup for dinner and had a fun time visiting and playing some games with them.  We often hang out at Mom and Dad's and it was fun for her kids to come play with their cousins at our house.  It was also nice to be able to spend time one on one with Natalie and her family.  It was a nice day and evening, great way to start the holiday break.
