Clara's Blessing

We were all able to drive up to Springfield to be with Lauren and Braden for Clara's blessing.  We were all so excited to meet Clara for the first time.  Braden gave Clara a nice blessing and she was quiet and calm during it.  After the blessing we snapped some pictures and then went to Lauren and Braden's for lunch.  We were also excited to see their new home.  They have moved recently and it was fun to have a tour in person.  Their new house fits their family perfectly.  We had a nice lunch and then had cake to celebrate Griffins birthday which was the week earlier.  The cousins had a great time playing with all the toys in the basement.  It was cold and raining so they got a little wild releasing energy down in the basement. We didn't stay to late because we knew a storm was coming through.  It was raining and really windy but we all made it home safely.  Natalie and her family were suppose to drive home to Nebraska that evening but there was snow in Kansas City that closed the highway.  They stayed the night at Lauren's house and headed home Monday.  I am thankful we live close to so much of my family and we were able to share that special day with them.  I am glad we were able to spend time with them all over the last few days.  It is so fun to create such great happy memories with everyone.
